Systems Engineers Jobs Tempe, Nationwide Growing

The number of systems engineers jobs Tempe has to offer is increasing along with the rest of the nation, which means those seeking IT jobs Phoenix should have an easier time finding work.

A recent report from Wanted Analytics found that the number of job openings for computer software engineers posted online increased by 12 percent between March 2010 and March 2011 to more than 56,000 openings.

There are currently about 850,000 computer software engineers throughout the nation, which means there is a ratio of one job opening for every 15 engineers. That's down from the 18 engineers for every job opening seen last year.

"Hiring demand for computer software engineers continues to show steady improvement, and the competition for top talent is fierce," Bruce Murray, CEO and president of WANTED Technologies, said in a statement. "Hiring demand for computer software engineers has recovered to within 3 percent of its four-year peak in June 2008 of 60,000 job ads."

California has the most online job openings for computer software engineers, at 14,000, which is a 34 percent increase from last year. Washington has the second-highest number of available jobs and has seen 59-percent growth.
