IT Jobs Tempe Available for Skilled Employees

Several IT jobs Tempe (Click here) should be available next year for those with specific skills.

Robert Half Technology recently released a report on "Seven Promising Jobs You Might Not Know About." Not too surprisingly, all of the jobs included in the report are technology-related, and are expected to grow next year as companies invest more money in IT.

"A common feature of high-demand jobs is a large degree of specialization," John Reed, executive director of Robert Half Technology, said in a press release. "Professionals with the best prospects have finely tuned abilities that enable their companies to take advantage of new technology and the increasing amount of information available to them."

Non Profit Jobs to See Increased Giving This Holiday Season

Those with non profit jobs (Click here) should see a little extra generosity this holiday season.

The 2011 American Red Cross Holiday Giving Poll found that a majority of Americans still want to donate to charities this holiday season, despite the fact that many people are still unsure about the future of the nation's economy.

"Despite the difficult economy Americans want to give to help others in need," Gail J. McGovern, president and CEO of the America Red Cross, said in a statement. "With so many people out of work, they want to give something that means something.

Dallas Hotel Jobs Should Grow Along with Worldwide Rates

More Dallas hotel jobs should be created as hotels begin charging higher rates and bringing in more money.

A recent report from Hogg Robinson Group found that hotels throughout the world increased rates by 4 percent during the first half of 2011. Of the 50 cities included in the survey, 33 saw a yearly increase in hotel rates.

"Yet again our survey indicates how important it is for clients to keep control of their hotel programmes and drive volumes to maximize returns," Stewart Harvey, group commercial director for HRG, said in a statement. "Despite the fact that many large companies have put in place travel restrictions and cost reductions, hotel rates in the majority of cities surveyed increased. Demand is driving the rate.

"We can expect hotel rates to continue to rise as more economies grow and business demand picks up," he continued. "During this time it is critical for clients looking to minimize travel spend to work with us to negotiate fair hotel rates."

Marketing Jobs in Phoenix Recognized

Those with marketing jobs in Phoenix who work for one of the nation's top hotel chains are being recognized for their efforts.

Best Western International has received several awards this year, including many awards that recognize the hotel chain's marketing efforts. The hotel chain has been recognized by everyone from AAA to Travel Weekly.
